Hi, have anyone thought about how to handling the problem with the energy consumption for the blockchain servers? Since we all know about the enormous energy consumption the different digital currencies blockchain servers and harvesting currencies has proven to be.
I’m just curios.

We talk about it some in our Update on Chain selection. The tldr, is that we are committed to using something that isn’t proof-of-work (or at least in how it has been implemented so far).
DSNP also shifts a lot of the work off-chain to lower costs (in money in environmental terms). Some of that is described in Concept Series 02: Source-Dependent Messages and will be touched on by some more posts later this week. Shifting computation off-chain doesn’t always reduce energy consumption, but it is usually helpful.
